Ryan Inglis is an independent singer-songwriter and professional guitar player originally from the UK, who found his new home in Munich, Germany in 2016 after travelling the world in search of new and exciting experiences.
Music, particularly guitar playing and singing have been his passion and livelihood for almost 20 years now and he still works on recording new music and his love for teaching the guitar from his home in Schwabing.
He performed at a Diwali event back in 2018 organised by PragyAseem Events together with singer Swarangi Ambekar Chaudhari. If you were there you may have been surprised to hear him sing a little bit of Hindi. “That was such a cool experience and everybody was really kind and welcoming to me” said Ryan “I loved preparing the medley with Swaranagi and everyone seemed to really enjoy our performance”
“I’d actually like to create an open stage event in Munich once a month where singers and guitar players can join together to sing and perform Hindi songs. I’m currently looking for a venue that would be interested to host such an event”
Since he started teaching guitar groups in the city he has connected with hundreds of people who had that desire to play guitar too. Whether they are professional adults working in the city who always wished they learned guitar as a kid, parents looking to make learning an instrument together a way to bond with their children or even full-time mums who just wanted to learn a few songs to play to their young families. Many of his students were international students or professionals from India and so he started to get many requests for Hindi and Bollywood songs.
Over the past 2 or 3 years he has created and refined many guitar and ukulele courses including a Bollywood guitar course for beginners that covers all the basics you need to get started. From buying your first guitar to learning songs such as Saathiya, Chura Liya and Ilihi in just 2 months. Whether you have never picked up a guitar before or you are looking to improve your existing skills everything is possible. “The only secret is that you need to make time to practice”
